ok, i give up ... i'm 30 now ...
and the official party was saturday ... vanessa was in LA for the festivities ... i'd like to think it was for the festivities, but there was family stuff for her to do ... so we eased her into the situation w/ a nice… -
drinking and diving ...
so yeah, you're never too old for a good ol' fashioned water slide ... but you can be too heavy ... maximum load = 200 lbs? ... yeah, maybe that's just a suggestion ... was it a coincidence that i had my swim trunks… -
... like a fish ...
labor day ... BBQs and pool parties ... pretty textbook for us ... plus booze, of course ... ro and joe were, of course, always planning ahead and extremely hospitable ... so there was a ton of meat ... and salad ...… -

and this past weekend was richard and juan's post-bar palm springs food/drink/belly-flop-a-thon ... having rented a house and bought all the consumables, half of us managed to get there shortly after check-in time ..… -
good birthdays ... good byes ... good burgers ...
so eddie's birthday rolled around ... he's not the first guy to turn 30 and he won't be the last ... but we all got together and went to a sushi/korean bbq joint to slam down a little too much sushi and a little too m… -
honey rides again ...
so it was honey's actual actual birthday ... and we're returning to the scene of the crime ... the saddle ranch on sunset ... lots of meat and sweets and liter after liter of your favorite drinks ... still i had to t… -

so yesterday was gerard's b-day celebration out in redondo beach ... an all-you-can-eat brazilian meatfest combined with live nearly-naked dancing ... you don't have to tell ro twice ... he got all beyonce on their as… -

schedules being what they are, this weekend was our big spring bobble-head beach bash ... the bbc has been on a big health kick lately and this is one of those times where we get to revel in our new-found healthy-ness… -
